The Institute for Early Childhood Education and Research

In order to facilitate the work of these individuals with interests in early childhood education, the Dean established the Institute for Early Childhood Education and Research (IECER) in the Faculty of Education. The Institute is an interdisciplinary unit and involves the active participation of faculty, students, and visiting scholars from a range of units across the campus and the broader community. The major purpose of the Institute is to serve as a community of discourse within the Faculty and the University around issues pertaining to professional development, research, policy, and leadership in the area of early childhood development and education.

A new IECER website is in progress. Please check back in the coming months for further information and updates on the work of the IECER.
