Neville Scarfe Building, Room 310

The Centre for Early Childhood Education & Research presents the Early Childhood Graduate Student Brown Bag Summer Series.

The Canadian 24-Hour Movement Guidelines for the Early Years outline the recommended balance of physical activity, high-quality sedentary behaviour and sufficient sleep for healthy growth and development. In this presentation, Dr. Guy Faulkner will describe the relationships between movement behaviours and health indicators in children of the early years. He will summarize for us the key elements of the public health guideline development process and will share valuable strategies for applying the guidelines in our work with children of the early years.
