This Summer Institute will focus on the possibilities of active play for supporting the wholistic development of young children. This course will explore the reciprocal relationship between teaching and learning through movement-based play utilizing a strength-based approach to pedagogy, as well as discuss the practicalities of championing active play in the early childhood years. This Summer Institute will be of interest to early childhood educators, classroom teachers, movement specialists, and other related professionals involved in the education and care of young children.
