Master of Education (MEd) – On campus
I am currently pursuing a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Early Childhood Education. My experience at UBC has been incredibly enriching, providing me with insights into innovative teaching strategies and child development theories. The supportive learning environment, along with the invaluable guidance from my supervisor, professors, and peers, has significantly contributed to my academic journey. I look forward to the journey ahead.
When I was exploring graduate programs, UBC’s Early Childhood Education program stood out to me and I am grateful to be part of a community that fosters both learning and growth. My decision to pursue further education in Early Childhood Education stems from my deep passion for working with children. Their energy and curiosity inspire me to rediscover my own sense of creativity and wonder, reminding me of the importance of embracing learning at every stage. With a background in education, I wanted to deepen my understanding of pedagogy and early learning practices. My experience with children reinforced my desire to specialize in early childhood development, as I witnessed the lasting impact that quality education has on their growth and well-being. I am particularly passionate about advocating for practices that support children’s mental, physical, and social well-being. As I continue in this program, I am excited to explore innovative ways to enhance children’s learning experiences and contribute meaningfully to the field of early childhood education.
Outside of my studies, I find joy in spending time in nature, whether it’s running, traveling, or hiking. These activities not only keep me balanced but also inspire me to approach education with fresh perspectives and energy.
