Master of Education (MEd) – On Campus
I am currently pursuing a Master of Education (MEd) in Early Childhood Education. I have worked as an Early Childhood Educator, teaching English as a Second Language for over three years. Through this experience, I realized that Early Childhood Education is about more than teaching and learning. I became curious about children’s development and wanted to explore why early childhood is such a crucial stage. This curiosity inspired me to continue my education and discover what kind of educator I want to become throughout my lifelong journey.
My experience at UBC has been incredibly positive so far. I feel fully supported by my instructors, who encourage the sharing of my past experiences and interests. The feedback and discussions with both instructors and classmates have broadened my perspectives and made this journey exciting and enriching. As a new graduate student, I’m eager to combine my experiences with the knowledge I gain here. I look forward to exploring research that reflects my interests and enjoying the unknown journey with the support of the UBC community.
Outside of academics, I love swimming, running, and playing the guitar. These activities help me stay grounded in my daily life, and I’m grateful for UBC’s resources, like the Aquatic Center, which have been a great help as I settle into this new chapter.
