Mariel Gomez

Mariel Gomez is a PhD candidate in the Human Development, Learning and Culture program at UBC. The focus of her academic work has been the pre-service and in-service education of early childhood teachers. Mariel holds an MA in Early Childhood Education from UBC and a BA in Psychology from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. She has professional experience in clinical and educational psychology as well as in research related to the learning and development of young children. Currently, she is interested in exploring possible avenues in early childhood education to face a climate-changing future.
