Sisilia Chen

Master of Arts (MA) – On Campus

My time in the MA program has been incredibly inspiring, filled with support, and highly educational! The outstanding professors and supervisors, as well as my fellow students, have made the initial years of my academic journey within this program truly remarkable. The MA in ECED program has allowed me to delve deeper into my passion for young child development and has also enriched my understanding of the crucial importance of early childhood education and programming.

I plan to spend the rest of my career learning and researching in ECE. My commitment to studying in this field is not only because of my career needs but also because of my love for this particular field. My passion for education comes from being with those diverse, pure, and lovely children. They are different from the adults who became assimilated to the same thoughts. Every child is born different in every way, so a professional educator is obliged to accept and respect the diversity of the world. With a holistic picture of the children in my mind, not only at the age of seven but also at the age of seventy. Life is a holistic process, so what they will become in the future relies on how I nurture them today.
