Master of Arts (MA) – On campus
Entering my second year of the MA program in Early Childhood Education, I’m still filled with excitement about how much there is to learn and explore! I’m incredibly grateful for the support I’ve received from my supervisor, professors, instructors, and my wonderful fellow students—each of whom has been instrumental in my learning journey.
I decided to pursue further education in Early Childhood Education because of my love for working with children. I’m continually amazed by children’s ability to accomplish remarkable things. The desire to contribute positively to their growth and development led me to this path.
I’m determined to equip myself with up-to-date knowledge and best practices in the field and to set a strong foundation for my future career. Choosing the MA program in ECED at UBC felt like a natural step, with its renowned reputation, beautiful campus, and high academic standards making it an easy first choice.
Beyond my studies, I love playing tennis, swimming, and exploring the natural beauty here in Canada. One new interest I’ve developed recently is cooking—though I’m still far from being an expert!
To my fellow students, especially those coming from different parts of the world like me, I want to say: embrace the journey, take your time, and make every moment count.
