About

The Faculty of Education at UBC offers a number of undergraduate and graduate programs focused on the early years (children from birth to age 9). The Early Childhood Education (ECED) program works in a consultative and cooperative role with the departments and other faculty units offering these programs. These programs include: Graduate programs (Master of Arts and Master of Education), Certificates and Diplomas, as well as a Minor in ECED for undergraduate students in the Faculty of Arts. The academic leadership of the ECED program is nurtured and sustained by the Early Childhood Education Advisory Committee.
